Overview:
Nanorestore Paper® dispersions control pH and deacidify cellulose-based artifacts. The nanoparticles allow for deep penetration into porous materials, rapid pH neutralization, and the creation of an alkaline buffer. The calcium carbonate fraction provides an alkaline reserve that is available immediately after application. These dispersions offer an alternative to traditional methods using larger particles and hydroxide or carbonate precursors. The use of organic solvents ensures compatibility with water-sensitive substrates.
